multiple projects: Originally hired by MOD Div. to participate in the update
of all Bio-Rad’s documentation to meet the European Standard EN50581, for
RoHS compliance, the International Standard for Restriction of Hazardous
Substances. The Scope of this work was to identify compliance status of all
materials, parts, components and processes. Worked with engineers, vendors,
buyers, suppliers, and also researched on the Web to establish that materials
and components used were RoHS compliant - obtained Certificates of Compliance
as required – or established equiv. substitutes and/or solutions – updated
existing documentation for RoHS Compliance. Next, was recruited by the GXD
Div. to help with the ERP/MRP migration from INFOR PLM to SAP. Had many
duties and in most cases was responsible for tracking and coordinating
projects and maintaining spreadsheets. Involved in validating the success of
the SAP migration Mock Tests, and participating and contributing ideas and
solutions in various groups charged with different aspects of the SAP
migration process including R&D Eng., QA and IT. Worked on the creation
of the Bio-Rad 800+ custom SW Toolbox parts, on fixing the product references

manufacture of the Oasis Tracker, SunPower’s flagship product line for
utility scale Power Plants. Assignments: Created and
maintained accurate dynamic Solidworks models, of the Oasis Horizontal
Trackers, for the R&D engineering team. Took the initiative to organize
and then successfully managed the Solidworks PDM vault. My high quality
mechanical drawings were instrumental in raising the overall level of the
Oasis documentation to production and ANSI-Y14.5 Standards. The R&D team
grew to rely on my expertise as a valuable source of information and feedback
regarding correct documentation procedures and standard. I spearheaded the
complicated project of developing the Autocad Field Assembly Installation
documentation for the Trackers. By applying my creative and problem solving
skills, to deal with multiple stake holders across the company, I was able to
overcome numerous technical and personal obstacles, resulting in the delivery
of an exceptional, well received, and timely product package. Using my
Solidworks skills innovatively, I created specialized, dynamic, multi-axis
Tracker assemblies that were used in shading, slope, and other environmental
studies. Collaborated with test engineers in developing cost effective test
fixtures used to simulate various environmental stresses for the evaluation
of the product’s performance and life span. Was one of the first to come up
to speed on the Arena ERP/MRP System. Effectively used Arena to generate: BOM’s,
ECO/ECR’s, SCD’s and for management of the documentation database. Upgraded
SunPower’s Solidworks Drawing Templates. Applied
Materials, Fairfield, CA10/2004 – 05/2009 Product: Design and
manufacture of Multi-ton thin film glass deposition equipment for the
architectural, solar and automotive glass markets. Assignments: Provided effective
component and system design for AMAT’s Coating Technologies Global Custom and
Standard products as directed by the engineering staff. Worked effectively
and cohesively with AMAT’s complex systems including high vacuum, plasma,
gas, hydraulics, piping, electrical, pumping, robotics weldments and fine
machine design. Participated in the process of translating system and
component designs, in Metric or English, or a combination there of, which
required working closely with vendors to locate and qualify comparable
materials and components as needed. Developed successful design and technical
solutions while meeting established guidelines, safety and quality targets
per provided design requirements, specifications, and analysis. Utilizing a
high level of communication skills I was effective in formalizing the design
requirements to achieve clear and accurate documentation, insuring cost
effectiveness, manufacturability, and reliability. Communicated effectively
to project team leaders all issues that would impact the budget including
time constraints, changes in cost, and projected performance. Performed CG
and tolerance analysis in Metric or English units. Spearheaded design
projects utilizing AMAT’s global telecommunication capabilities working with
local as well as global design teams. Participated in and provided input, as
